About

We offer spaces and high-end gaming equipment for all current MSU students to hang out and play games. From our Lounge and Open Play areas, to exclusive varsity spaces, there's a place for you whether you’re a casual or competitive gamer.

Location and Hours

  • Location: Wissink Hall 121
  • Lounge Hours: Open during Wissink Hall building hours, free for everyone.
  • Summer Open Play Hours: Open Monday–Friday from 10am–10pm, free for varsity students. All other students must purchase a pass.

Summer Gaming Access

During summer break, only varsity students can access Open Play gaming for free during open hours. All other students must purchase a gaming pass for access during summer. Select the "Semester" pass option, which includes access Monday–Saturday from 10am–10pm, from May 11–August 17.

Fall and Spring Gaming Access

During fall and spring, all students can access Open Play gaming for free during open hours. For extended access after hours during fall and spring, students can purchase a gaming pass. Passes include access Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm. Options include day, week, month, semester, and year passes ranging from $1 to $60.

Lounge and Open Play

The Gaming and Esports Lounge and Open Play is open to all students to hang out, study, and game. It includes an area with comfy furniture and tables and an Open Play section with PCs and gaming equipment for checkout. This area also features an audience viewing section for spectating featured varsity matches.

Esports Training Facility and Competition stage

The Esports Training Facility and Competition Stage are home to varsity team practices, matches, and LAN events. Become a varsity player for access to this part of our space. Our high-end setups include: PCs AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPUs, NVIDIA RTX 4070S GPUs, 16 GB 6000 mhz DDR5 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSDs, Wallhack mousepads, Logitech Superlight 2 mice, Pro X headsets, and mechanical keyboards.

Broadcast Studio

The Esports Broadcast Studio is equipped with high-end streaming technology that powers our Twitch livestreams, so you can watch us compete! It's run by talented students and staff, including video and sound technicians, student shoutcasters, coordinators, and more, providing an immersive and professional streaming experience. Watch livestreams on Twitch.
